Our owner(s) Tina Tanco firmly believe we can do that through serving seniors in our community, which includes: Fulton and Gwinnett Counties.
Inspired by her mother’s passion for helping seniors in her community, Tina Tanco along with her husband Stephen opened Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services in Fulton and Gwinnett Counties, GA. Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services matches seniors who want to help with seniors who need help. Peer-to-peer care provides compassionate, loving help to senior Receivers, while offering the opportunity for active seniors to be involved in the community and give back.
As a volunteer for the elderly, Tina’s mother instilled in her daughter the importance of caring for others. “My mom taught me that helping seniors remain independent in their home, with dignity can really enhance their quality of life,” says Tina. With Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services Tina is able to put all the lessons her mom taught her to good use. The Providers who work with Tina and Stephen are able to offer many services including light housekeeping, yard work, maintenance work, transportation, 24-hour care, respite care and most importantly, companionship.
Tina’s background is in consulting, with a primary focus on the financial service market. In addition to working she has cared for her mother, managed real estate properties, catered events and looked after her family. Stephen has managed companies related to the Steel Building Industry for the past 15 years. He has gained valuable experience in managing, operations, training and recruiting. Both Tina and Stephen have tons of energy and are extremely passionate about what they do.
